Animator and Storyteller from Saudi Arabia
Hailing from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, I’m an animator captivated by the enchanting world of animation. I am currently furthering my studies at Pratt Institute, where I am immersing myself in the art of storytelling through visuals. Inspired by luminaries like Hayao Miyazaki, Tim Burton and Disney, I transform dreams into tangible art. From a young age, animation entranced me, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. My dreams often resemble animated tales—vivid, surreal, and otherworldly. Upon waking, I weave these dreams into narratives, extending the boundaries of my imagination. I harnessed drawing as my medium to translate the intangible into illustrations, granting life to characters and emotions. Saudi Arabia’s rich culture and stories infuse my work with global resonance. Supported by my family, I’m on a journey to illustrate that dreams, whether on screen or in the heart, possess the power to inspire and connect us all. In this ongoing creative voyage, I’m dedicated to proving that the fusion of dreams and art can heal, challenge, and unite in the grand tapestry of existence.
Film Overview
This animation is set to be in a lab where people are being experimented on, and where peculiar and paranormal activities are said to happen. The protagonist is an eye that is trapped within one of the jars and is trying to reach its owner, who’s on a bed. However, the eye topples over and rolls on the floor and ends up under one of the cabinets, where it is startled by other eyeballs that were also presumably attempting to reach their previous owners.
